We recommend that you travel by public transport. Bundesplatz is just a few minutes’ walk from Bern railway station and can be easily reached from the entire conurbation by Bern Mobil.

At you can see how many parking spaces are available from your home. If you are travelling, simply dial the toll-free number 0800 727 536 at any time and you’ll be informed of the number of free parking spaces.

Safety first

Securitas has been assisting us with the construction of Rendez-vous Bundesplatz since 2011 and provides security. The City of Bern is also involved and watches over the Bundesplatz. During this time, all public and private traffic will be diverted so that the audience can clearly see the showing on the big stage.

Many thanks to Securitas and the City of Bern for their commitment.

Just in case, there will also be a Samaritan vehicle stationed on the pavement at the side of the Bundesgasse at Bundesplatz.

The red zone

The red zone on the Bundesplatz for wheelchair users with reduced mobility and this year’s red zone for small astronauts – so they don’t have big people getting in the way of their view.

Mummy, I need the loo…

Sometimes it is urgent… There are no toilet facilities available on the Bundesplatz itself. However, visitors to Rendez-vous Bundesplatz can use public toilet facilities at the multi-storey car parks in Bern city centre or the public toilet facilities at Bern railway station before or after the event.
